David Byrne’s new album, ‘The End of the World’ has been released and we’re hoping to see some of the album’s best material on stage.
In a new interview with The Irish Independent, Byrne revealed the album, which features songs by the likes of The Cure, Blur, David Bowie and The Smiths, will be released in two parts, which will be out on October 15.
In the interview, Byrne said he was trying to make it a ‘sustained release’.
He said he didn’t want to make the record ‘one-hit wonders’ but ‘it needs to be something lasting’.
The band will be releasing a live album of their music from October 15 in London, Dublin and London.
The band’s latest album, released in 2017, was a massive hit, but it was the first one to include new songs by David Bowie, The Cure and Blur.
