The Islanders defeated the Bruins 4-0 on Friday night at Madison Square Garden, while the Bruins beat the Islanders 4-1 on Sunday at TD Garden.
The Islanders have won four of their last five games, including a 6-1 victory over the Florida Panthers on Saturday.
They have scored at least 20 goals in each of their first three games, and are averaging 2.24 goals per game.
They’ve also scored more than one goal in six of their past seven games.
The Bruins have scored more goals (29) than they’ve allowed in the last five meetings.
The New Jersey Devils have lost three straight to the Islanders, including two straight in overtime and two straight at MSG.
The Isles’ 3-2 victory over Boston was their second straight, while New York’s 3-0 win over Tampa Bay was their third straight.
The Rangers are 8-1-0 against the Islanders.
The Devils have won two straight against the Rangers, including one in overtime on Saturday night.
The Capitals have scored the most goals in the NHL against the Isles.
They’re averaging 11.1 goals per contest against the Leafs, including 6.7 goals per night in their last four games.
